    Default Job search

Is it just me or are any other young attorneys having problems finding jobs? I passed the bar in October and I still haven't been able to get on anywhere. Does anyone have any advice?

The reason might be the bad economy.

And also when we are applying for work, having good connection or knowing someone in the company will make your applying easier although it doesn't really guarantee that you will be hired. You can also ask for references from your friends who have already got a job.

Yes, unfortunately many students are having the same problem. Are you still looking? I am a career coach in the LA area that is contemplating offering a teleseminar for lawyers on how to navigate this terain and how recruiters find jobs for their candidates, and how you can do the same. Would anyone be interested in this kind of teleseminar, what other things are you having problems with that you would like to be addressed?
