    Default Verizon Still Stealing Screws

    "V"

    I've had Verizon for 3 years and TODAY I want to walk into WalMart and get the new NO CONTRACT "Straight Talk" Service.

    Do I need to cancel my Bank Card (VISA) linked to my Verizon Statement Payments to prevent further interaction with Verizon?
    They can try to "ding" my electronic accounts until hell freezes over

    I know! My DirecTV contract was canceled by myself ONLY AFTER I was STRONGLY advised to change any/all Bank Cards and Credit Cards available.

    It would seem MANY of their former customers called DirecTV and canceled their Service; and they woke up the next day to find their Primary Bank Account had been dinged $275. by DirecTV for Termination of Contract;
    AND became causal to three other charges (DOMINO Effect) and 3 each OVERDRAFT charges for $35.00 each.

    IRONIC TOO! Verizon provides the network for "STRAIGHT TALK?!" VERIZON will STILL will be making money off of me.

    Requesting any (YOUR) further guidance for protection against my imminent Termination.

    The GREED EATER

    I have had bad experiences with direct deposit not being stopped on request. It might not be a bad idea to close the account to be safe if it dosnt inconvienent you in too many other ways. You choice though.
