I was told that the actual UGPA is not sent to law schools. Instead, LSAC calculates a different GPA by only counting certain classes (classes for your major, etc). Does anyone know the exact method that LSAC uses to calculate the GPA?

I have a 3.5 but that's because I didn't decide to go to law school until I started taking my higher level classes. In the classes for my majors, I have straight As and A-s. I only got B's in the core/basic classes and haven't received anything less than an A- since then. Do you think law schools will take this into consideration?

Also, I have 3 different majors (Political Science, Criminology, and Sociology). Which one would count towards my "new" GPA calculated by LSAC?

Thank you very much in advance.
